The Office of the Assembly is the administrative arm of the Legislative Assembly of Ontario. Our mandate is to provide non-partisan support services to all Members of Provincial Parliament.
The Information Services branch seeks a dynamic, client-oriented individual to join the Records and Document Management Program which focuses on records management, freedom of information and privacy, and document management in order to maintain our corporate memory, find records, manage email, and meet legal and privacy requirements.
Reporting to the Records and Document Management Coordinator, you will be responsible for the development and coordination of activities related to forms and document production and storage within the Assembly including design, standards development, and ensuring that print and online forms and documents adhere to system requirements and organizational standards including accessibility. This position is also responsible for the information management components of the Assembly's document management system.
As part of the Records and Document Management team, this position will also assist in the day-to-day operations of the Records and Document Management Program including assisting in FOI requests submitted to the Assembly.
To be considered for this opportunity you must have an advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel, an advanced knowledge of spelling, punctuation, sentence and paragraph structure and formatting, excellent interpersonal communication skills, the ability to independently resolve problems or errors by tracing processing actions. Your post-secondary education or equivalent, combined with your working knowledge of Records Management principles will contribute to your success in this position. You must be able to work independently and in a team environment and have strong attention to detail and have high quality standards. The salary range for this position is $41,453, to $52,848 per annum.
